The Summerhouse Meeting Room at The Afton Hotel is the perfect venue for any group of up to 50 people to meet. As well as being easily accessible, having a central location opposite the Pier in Eastbourne, it has the versatility to suit a wide variety of functions & events. Talks, lectures or less formal group gatherings as well as small social events can all be easily accommodated in this lovely room. The Summerhouse offers flexible lighting for a varied ambience, CD player, A-Board, large drop down screen and a projector with link for a laptop. With it’s own separate entrance, its own serving hatch that has easy access to refreshment facilities and its own in-room toilets, the Summerhouse can offer everything that might be needed for a bespoke, private and successful meeting, conference or event.

“Eastbourne Round Table ‘Strictly come dancing’”

We used the hotel’s function room to host a ‘Strictly come dancing’ evening for our members and their partners. It was a fun evening made even more enjoyable by the wonderful service that we received from the hotel. The Afton Hotel team made everyone feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for making our evening a success.
